Commissioned by Headcount plc this reception desk, named 'line' was designed by our studio. Like most situations in today's competitive market the client's budget controlled the design. The client had a clear vision of what was required; a strong corporate identity with a crisp, modern, forward thinking style. Toughened glass panels are suspended on powder coated steel posts. The posts and laminate leg elements support the desktop. Ash finishes the desktop and counter cap. |

Following closely to the designs of architects, Quartet, David Sheppard created this mainly glass and stainless steel reception desk. The client, Helical Bar, requested a 3.75 metre glass fronted desk for their office development in Milton Keynes. Each of the etched curved glass front panels is lit from behind by blue fluorescent lamps. The one-piece, 15mm thick glass top is supported on a stainless steel frame which is integral to the structure. Beneath the top is an Ash worksurface which incorporates the wire management. An excellent example of how David Sheppard utilises the expert workshops at their disposal. |
