The Spectrum Building is a landmark that heralds the new era of confidence a soaring future for Bristol. Owned by The Prudential Portfolio, they chose David Sheppard to undertake the manufacture of all items for the refurbishment of the lobby areas, lift cabins and reception area. Using the warmth and texture of Maple, David Sheppard manufactured a triple height reception desk. Designed with the higher screened area for CCTV and a lower area for easy access for wheelchair users it showed its welcoming curves to staff and visitors alike. The granite counter emphasised the lasting quality and traditional strength of construction. All set against the backdrop of an impressive 25 metre long waving wall finished in Maple. David Sheppard once again illustrated their expertise in successfully completing projects large and small yet always striving to exceed the expected.
