Yeo Valley Products Ltd, the major producer of organic farm produce, was introduced to David Sheppard by architect James Blair and Associates. Yeo Valley had aquired the beautifully situated Mendip Centre, high on the Mendip Hills in Somerset, to convert into an exclusive conference centre. David Sheppard reflected the modern approach Yeo Valley has to its organic products by combining the use of warm 'olive' Ash and polished limestone with the clean uncluttered lines of cool white light and deep plum coloured surfaces. Two bars were designed having rear units with back lit glass shelves. The front bars were finished in 'mint green' with 'olive' Ash and limestone counters. A welcoming desk had a front panel in 'olive' Ash bordered with matt anodised aluminium, and counters of limestone and glass.
